Our Story
Reach Pharmacy started its journey in 2001, founded by its current owner Neeraj Salwan, and has grown into one of the UK’s leading independent online pharmacies, providing a discreet and safe service to over 100,000 patients.
We are one of Scotland’s top award-winning pharmacy groups and are proud to be 100% UK-based. Serving our local communities where our pharmacies are based and being an integral part of the fabric of the neighbourhoods we serve is vitally important to us, as without our lovely customers we don’t have a business!
We are always happy to help the communities we are situated in and often sponsor local football teams, get involved in Macmillan coffee mornings, and provide free delivery through our driver network to elderly members of the community.
We wanted to ‘Reach out’ to customers all over the UK and provide them with the same service we provide to our local customers in Scotland and so have launched an online arm to our wider community pharmacy group business, www.reachpharmacy.com
This means that Reach Pharmacy can offer a blended approach to the way we see how pharmacy of the future should be operating – incorporating the convenience of digital healthcare from the comfort of your home or on the go.
What Makes Us Different
Most online pharmacies in the UK operate under a faceless distance-selling license, which means they can sell you a prescription medication from an office or a warehouse but you wouldn’t be able to visit them or receive advice in person. Unlike most online pharmacies in the UK, Reach Online Pharmacy operates from within an established community pharmacy group in Glasgow and holds an NHS license.
This means we have years of training and experience and are accustomed to maintaining a high level of patient support, advice on medicines and customer service. We are trained to help you with your health-related matters, not just to sell you medicine.
Our staff help patients to get their medication on a daily basis, and are equipped to meet the healthcare needs of the community. It also means that our Pharmacist and Dispensing Team are always contactable during operating hours. You may also visit us if you wish to conduct your consultation in-pharmacy or under the supervision of our Pharmacist.

When we started the Reach Pharmacy website in 1997, online pharmacy was very much in its infancy in the UK and we quickly recognized the need for a safe, trusted and recognizable national service online. As such, we made a commitment to provide our community with a digital service that reflected the same high standards as our bricks and mortar pharmacies.
Our goal is to provide both our community patients, and those nationally, with a convenient, discreet and professional online pharmacy service that prioritises the safety of our patients.

Our treatments
We only offer treatments and stock medicines and products we’re happy to put our name behind. All of our products are sourced from Medicine and Healthcare Regulatory Authority (MHRA) approved suppliers that we use in our community pharmacies and are legal and safe to use in the United Kingdom, with full product licenses.
Patient Safety
We use best practice where we can, and in order to keep you safe we may limit the amount of some treatments that can be purchased by our patients over certain time periods.
